A HUGE REVERB FOR A SMALL PRICE

Like all 3 Series pedals this one is sporting three knobs, a mini toggle switch, a soft-touch footswitch and an LED to indicate when the pedal is in operation. The enclosure is painted matte white in color but inside the understated paint job is one of my favorite JHS pedals, regardless of price.
The knob on the left is labeled “Verb” and it allows you to mix reverb with your dry sound. The “Dampen” control rolls-off high frequency from the reverb as you turn the knob clockwise. The “Decay” knob is where the magic happens, as you turn it clockwise the length of time it takes for the reverb to die-away gets longer until at full rotation you enter an almost infinite space of reverb. If you like to create ambient music this pedal is going to be your friend. The tiny toggle switch introduces a very slight modulation into the reverb sound which adds an air of magic to the effect when using it at long decay times.
I am a big fan of reverb and this pedal delivers huge amounts of it. This pedal is definitely in the running for the H.o.T. award of “Pedal of the Year”. Simple controls deliver enourmous effects that put a big smile on the face of Reverb afficionados everywhere.
Buy one! Three big thumbs-up for the latest additions to the JHS 3 Series effect pedal family.
Good music to you!
